Community is important at Jim Elliot
Our school is not only a place where students are educated, discipled, and mentored. We also have a high degree of family involvement at the school. Parents are required to serve for 20 volunteer hours per year (10 hours for single parents), doing all kinds of things–driving for service days and field trips, providing teacher snacks in the conference room, taking tickets at sports events, and a host of other activities. These volunteer hours keep our school running and also provide parents with many opportunities to get to know each other and get to know the other students.
