Skyler has a light hearted, humorous, and empathetic personality. God has given him a passion and gift for teaching the Bible. He is currently involved in theological studies to prepare for the ministry of the pastorate.  A prayer Skyler has for his students is that Jesus Christ would become a more desirable treasure than anything this world can offer. When he is not at JE he enjoys playing and watching sports, hiking, reading theology books and Christian biographies, and naps. Something that not everyone knows about Skyler is that he is a twin! His favorite Bible verse is “For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,”  is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6.
