Jim Elliot Christian School offers a learning environment that emphasizes:

Discipleship – The classroom experience at JECS is more than an information dump. Education at our school is relational, with teachers who invest in students’ lives through our mentoring program and who integrate biblical truth into each discipline. Guest speakers challenge our students to grow in faith and love during weekly chapel, with principles discussed afterward in mixed-grade Life Groups. We take our faith out of the Christian bubble and into the streets with all-school service days and a cross-cultural missions requirement for graduation.

Learning Styles - Our classrooms go beyond the traditional lecture-and-notes format. JECS teachers are trained to value students’ differing learning styles. They enrich students’ education through varied assignments and instructional methods.

The Arts – Our academic block schedule honors both the creative and the analytic with Core Classes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and enrichment classes, including Christian Formation, on Tuesday/Thursday.

Athletics – Our athletic program emphasizes Christian character and integrity along with the skills of the game.
