Jim Elliot Christian School is a distinctly Christian learning environment that encourages critical thinking skills within a biblical framework. We believe that learning should be personalized to the fullest extent possible, reflecting the status of each person as a unique “image-bearer” of God. We have designed a long-range plan to identify each student’s individual learning style and consider these learning styles when formulating curricula. Our students are required to complete a solid core curriculum, and the majority of our graduation go on to study at four-year universities.

Graduation Tracks

Jim Elliot offers two graduation tracks as follows:

The College Prep track is for the academic student who is college bound and would like the school of his or her choice.  Requirements are as follows:

• English:  4 credits
• Social Studies: 4 credits(World History, American History, Government/Missions, Senior Practicum)
• Science: 4 credits
• Bible: 4 credits
• Math: 4 credits
• Foreign Language: 2 credits
• PE: .5 credit
• Health: .5 credit
• Fine Arts: 1 credit
• Electives: 4 credits
• Missions Trip:  5 day, overnight, cross-cultural

Total Credits needed to Graduate= 28

The Conventional track is for the strong student whose academic career includes trade school, community college, or junior college.  Requirements for this track are the same as the college prep track with the exception of only three credits of science and math.
