Course Description:

This course covers the foundational math concepts necessary for all higher math.  Students will be expected to work toward the goal of successfully taking addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fact tests in the time frame of 3 minutes.  Students will become very familiar with and master long multiplication, long division, decimals, and fractions.  The students will be introduced to positive and negative integers, algebraic problem solving, ratios, proportions, and percents.  All concepts will be used in word problems to further understand the concepts.
