Course Description
This course is designed to aid students in exploring the intricate qualities of an individual relationship with Jesus. Using class time and homework assignments, we read and discuss the content of the New Testament on the topics of historical importance, literary function, and personal relevance. This involves three major movements throughout the year: (1) a section exploring the personality of Jesus and how we can know him, (2) an involved study of the Gospel of Luke, and (3) a survey of New Testament literature, its impact on developing Church history, and its use in modern spirituality.
