Course Description

Middle School Introduction to the Theater will last two semesters and give the student a basic overview of the subject and possibly an opportunity to participate in a live performance.  We will explore an introductory history of the theater, stage terminology and improvisation. Students will practice skills in elementary acting and evaluation using monologues and/or scenes. We will also focus on life-long skills such as work ethic, organization, and building self-confidence.
